Soundproofing ceiling in SASA restaurant
Sasa restaurants are a popular chain of restaurants. One of the restaurants is located on the ground floor of Radisson Hotel, Sofia.
The acoustic problem
The restaurant management turned to DECIBEL with the need to reduce noise. The problem arises from the high noise levels and loud music from the restaurant that disturb the hotel guests. Due to the thin ceiling of the building, which separates the restaurant from the rooms above, the speech and the rattling of plates and utensils reaches the upper floors. This impairs the comfort of the stay of visitors to the Radisson Hotel and leads to negative feedback from its guests.
After the approval of the solution proposed by Decibel, the installation of a highly efficient noise reduction system began.
The solution
The solution of DECIBEL engineers is tailored to the specifics of the problem. For this reason, the DECIBEL team used the C-MUTE SYSTEM ™. This is an innovative product developed and improved by DECIBEL. The main principle of operation of the system is the used electro-mechanical analogy mass + spring + mass. DECIBEL's engineering department has developed special anti-vibration DClox ™ fasteners for mounting C-MUTE panels to the existing ceiling.
Results of the implemented project
DECIBEL planned and implemented the whole project and it gave the desired results.
The measurements performed after the acoustic treatment left the customer satisfied.
