HackSoft, a leading Bulgarian tech company, sought DECIBEL's expertise to transform its podcast studio into an acoustically optimized and visually captivating space. Inspired by a previous DECIBEL project, HackSoft envisioned a solution that balanced advanced soundproofing with a cosy, professional aesthetic - all within a strict budget and a tight 10-day timeline.

The challenge was not just achieving superior acoustics but doing so in a way that maintained HackSoft's brand identity while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. DECIBEL rose to the occasion, delivering a seamless transformation that exceeded expectations.

Scope of Work

• • Consultation and Analysis: Conducted initial consultations and precise acoustic calculations to tailor the solution.
  • Design and Material Production: Created a design concept aligned with the client’s vision and produced custom acoustic materials.
  • Installation:
    • Mounted circular textile acoustic panels on walls and ceilings.
    • Upholstered the wall behind presenters with rectangular acoustic panels for improved sound quality and aesthetics.
    • Installed a custom soundproofing blanket for the studio window to block external noise.
  • Room Arrangement: Achieved a harmonious blend of functionality and style, ensuring the entire space aligned with HackSoft’s requirements.
